Why are we stressing over PROM?

Shouldn't it be a day where we can relax and enjoy our friends' company?

We are stressing over what shirt to wear, what shoes to heel, what blazer/coat to get.

Doesn't all these peripheral stuff masks the prom itself?

Ohwell.I think we should just go and enjoy ourselves, the atmosphere, the company, the booze but no hanky panky.
